THE MET (again)
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a beautiful 3 hour train ride down the coast from my dads in Massachusetts. My dad and I went for the first time last summer (blog entry here), and despite the freezing weather, couldn't pass on another trip.

JUXTAPOZ BOOK
I just got my copy of the new Juxtapoz Erotic Art book. I'm honored to have been featured among a slew of great artists; David Choe, Audrey Kawasaki, Tomer Hanuka, and Vania Zouravliov to name a few of my favorites.

BACK FROM A LULL
Aside from long lines, security theater, and the general offensiveness of the majority of my fellow Americans (flip-flop wearers); I really like flying. There are obvious exceptions*, but I usually kind of enjoy being locked in a seat at 30,000 feet, with nothing to do but entertain myself.

QUICK TAMPA TRIP
On my way out East to visit my dad in Massachusetts, I took a quick trip to Tampa Fl to get some more work done on a rib tattoo. My buddy Phil Holt started it over a year ago and we're finally getting back into it. I'll spare you on how bad tattoos feel on ribs.

ART BASEL 2010 pt.II
I'm a little late with this one, but I wanted to get a few more pictures up from my trip to Miami last month. here's a look inside the WhiteWalls tent at the W in SouthBeach. That's work from Above, Kevin Cyr, and Jessica Hess on the right - my two pieces in the center, and Clayton Bros. on the left.

MAKING A MESS
Happy Holidays! I've been meaning to post for weeks and just haven't gotten around to it -- and not for a lack on content this time either. I came to the realization that now that my December shows are over, I have about 4 months or so to paint an entire solo show, as I'm supposed to be at the Shooting Gallery (SF) in May. HOLY!

ART BASEL 2010 pt.I
I was able to get to Miami for Art Basel again this year, and this time, I felt I had a much better handle on how to approach the fairs. For those who haven't been, Miami basically turns into a huge art gallery, with fairs situated in all parts of the city. They can be tricky to get to without wheels, and packing in so much art can be a challenge (physically and mentally).
