I just got my copy of the new Juxtapoz Erotic Art book. I’m honored to have been featured among a slew of great artists; David Choe, Audrey Kawasaki, Tomer Hanuka, and Vania Zouravliov to name a few of my favorites. Initially I was a little hesitant about being a part of an erotic art book (although not that hesitant) because I’ve never considered my work erotic…it certainly isn’t my intent. I do intend for it to be art however, and so it is – whatever it is — to those looking at it. Be it erotic, sexist, empowering, etc., I’m just happy anybody would look at it long enough to form an opinion of it’s makeup.
I needn’t have worried though. The art is fantastic and very well reproduced, and on fancy paper and everything. a huge thank you to the good people at Juxtapoz for including me. If you’re in the market for art books, you can get it here – I highly recommend it.

Congratulations! Though I don’t see your work as erotic either, it is awesome to be featured in Juxtapoz. Come to think of it, I don’t see Kawasaki, Hanuka, or Choe’s work as all that erotic either..
Awesome, looking forward to getting the book!
wow! congratulations!!!!!!!
Dear Aaron, I’m Italian, from the city Ravenna, on the nord-east coast of Italy; the city of bithantynic mosaics and of the last Roman Imperors.
From the first time I have seen your paintings I have found them fantastic, full of a sort of classical corporal strongness, and on the same way very modern, although permeated by a subtile sense of darkness, both darkness of ambient (the sense of light and darkness of a Caravaggio’s school pictor), both interior darkness, not evil, but, pehaps, a little sexual perversion…
I do love your works!
(between, I’m a non-professionist painter, too…; you can find me on Facebook)
I take this occasion to ask you for the prices of your pictures; can you send me a private email?
Thanks in advance.
My best regards, Master.

Hello Aaron,
I forgot to said here that, instead of others, I find your pictures very erotic, too.
Not Only Erotic, they are More Than Erotic, but Erotic Too: yes!
In your pictures erotism, a quiet but dark one, is an essential component, such as the reminding to a strange link with religion, and a metaphisical sense of existence.
Light is warm, colours and bodies are glamorous, modern, but darkness, like in Caravaggio’s (the greatest painter all over the world, all over the time…), is omnipresent! Your personages, Aaaron, men and women, are like carved in the marble, and all of them seem have done the original sin; and they are front standing, even bleeding, in the darkness out of Eden….
Maybe their oil-blacked hands are the signs of committed original sin; are they looking for a redemption, a grace, a divine forgiving? Maybe… but at the present, these women seem too much involved with sex pulsions, to find the way toward a purification…..
My best regards, Master.
